Virtual Tour Design for National Museum of Bhutan

In June 2020, I had the privilege of collaborating with a talented team to design a VR tour for the National Museum at Paro Ta Dzong. Despite lacking prior experience in VR and working with limited equipment, we successfully completed the project using a standard DSLR.

To create the virtual tour, we utilized an online virtual tour creator tool called Theasys. First, we captured photos of the museum’s interior and then stitched these photos into 2D panoramas using Adobe Photoshop. These panoramic images were then uploaded into Theasys to create a virtual tour.

This project taught me a valuable lesson: even when faced with uncertainty and limited resources, there is always a way to find solutions and overcome challenges. It demonstrated that with determination and resourcefulness, you can achieve far more than you might initially think possible.
